Join the Farm to Yarn Tour on a Craftsbury Outdoor Center van to tour three farms in Northern Vermont and learn how they raise animals for fiber, process the fiber, and create wonderful woolies. The bus will leave from The Art House at 11:30 on Sunday, May 20, returning by 5:00 pm. We will head first for East Albany, then to Coventry, then off to Montgomery Center, and will end at the Mountain Fiber Folk yarn and fiber shop before starting back home. The only fee is the $10 fee to ride the bus, but if you would like to purchase fiber or yarn along the way or at the Mountain Fiber Folk shop, please remember to bring cash. Light refreshments may be served at the farms, but you should also pack a lunch. Families are welcome. There are 15 seats on the van. Register by May 17.
