Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is located in the northeastern corner of the State of Vermont. Vermont State is bordered by Canada to the north, New Hampshire to the east, Massachusetts to the south, and New York to the west.

Vermont is one of six states that makes up the region known as New England. New England is the northern-most region of the eastern United States.
