Parking and Trailhead are located just off of Route 114 on Brousseau Mountain Rd. It is about 1.2 miles to the summit. Situated just south of the Canadian border in the town of Norton, Brousseau Mountain (elevation 2723 feet) is a rugged little peak. A short, but scenic trail provides a pleasant hike to the summit where spectacular views can be had from the top of mountains's extensive southern tip climax. Brousseau Mountain is one of the few nesting sites for Peregrine Falcons. In an effort to restore their population, hiking is prohibited before August 1, a critical time for falcons and their offspring.
