Brown's Market Bistro sits on the north bank of the Wells River, at the foot of Groton Forest and in the heart of beautiful Groton, Vermont. We are on Route 302, in the Village, next to the Groton Garage and across from the post office.

The Bistro's name is a tribute to Brown's Market which faithfully served Groton's marketing needs for so many years. Today, the Bistro uses the same historic space with the old market's shelves still intact and the beautiful wood floors that keep the historic buildings charm.

Menu choices include fresh salads, homemade soups, and entrees such as grilled vegetable napoleon, crab crusted grilled salmon, or filet mignon with smoked bleu cheese.  Pizza is also available - for here or to go.  Brown's Market Bistro is a proud member of the Vermont Fresh Network and supports local farmers by using as many locally produced ingredients as possible.

Open Monday through Saturday from 11 am - 9 pm.
