Get away to The Craftsbury Outdoor Center for an active vacation or just to relax. The friendly atmosphere will make large groups, families and individuals feel right at home. Lodging is simple and comfortable. Several of our rooms and cabins have been remodeled in the last year. You have the choice of a room with a shared or private bath and double or twin beds. We also offer apartment style accommodations and private lakeside cottages.
During the summer season join a world class running or sculling camp. Rent a Fisher mountain bike and ride our trails or take a leisurely tour on the country roads surrounding the Center. Enjoy our summer trails by foot on your own or as part of a guided nature hike. Or get together a game of tennis, volleyball or basketball. Afterwards, relax lakeside. Go for a swim or paddle one of our kayaks or canoes.
In the winter, experience our renowned snow conditions, often described as "the best in the east." We offer cross-country ski rentals or bring your own to explore our 85 kilometers of ski trails groomed for classical and skate style skiing. Snowshoeing is a great way to spot animals or their tracks as you travel at a more relaxed pace. You can rent hi-tech lightweight snowshoes at our touring center. Take advantage of our expanded skating pond located next to our touring center where you can find hot chocolate and a warm fire.

A Resident and Day Camp offering 6 themed week long sessions for children ages 3-15. All camp activities and overnights are supervised by a 6:1 staff to camper ratio. Themes include a co-ed Teen camp (12-15), Residential Camp (8-12), Day Camp (5-12), and a Preschool Science Camp (3-5. ideRide offers guided mountain biking adventures, camps, biking clinics and a shuttle service to the Kingdom Trails network of trails. Their staff and guides share a love of biking and extensive knowledge of the trail systems in Vermont and other states. ideRide offers a safe, legal and reliable ride up Burke mountain where you can access the downhill trails. Come to East Burke Village any summer weekend, bring 20 bucks for the shuttle and 10 for Kingdom Trails. Single rides are $5.
ideRide camps teaches those enthusiastic about biking to; learn new riding skiills, better understand bike mechanics, improve confidence, live healthy, enhance their love for the sport and camraderie of mountain biking. Operating on the number one rated trail system in the U.S., Kingdom Trails, ideRide has customized a one of a kind professional camp program that incorporates a balance of enthusiastic, highly skilled coaches, counselors, professional riders, photographers, videographers, bike mechanics and a personal chef, helping participants to take their riding, health and exposure to the next level and beyond. Unique to ideRide camps, each participant recieves their very own online rider profile, professionally produced by Mocean 365, that chronicles their riding throughout the week and features them riding like the pros, with the pros. NorthWood's mission of fostering long-term stewardship of human and natural communities is achieved through the integration of its five program areas: land management, conservation science, education, outdoor recreation, and conservation service. Four generations of Smiths have maintained this country haven for families. A restored 1860s farmhouse inn and 11 cottages (some 1920s vintage) reside on 120 acres abutting crystal-clear Caspian Lake and two nature preserves. The gentle atmosphere brings families back year after year. Included amenities: lovely private sandy beach on the lake, a variety of boats, beach toys, and lawn games. Available: weekly beach picnics, nature programs, sailboat & bicycle rentals. Nestled deep in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, Seymour Lake Lodge is the ideal spot to get away from everyday life and find out what it means to truly live. Seymour Lake is one of Vermont's cleanest and most beautiful lakes offering many outdoor activities year round. Sleep in or see the sunrise, a full country breakfast will be ready between 6-10:00 a.m. waiting for you at our onsite Table Rock Cafe in a mid-nineteenth century building restored with a rustic charm. On a warm summer's day enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake at the half-mile beach directly across from the lodge. At day's end, relax on our large porch and relish the beautiful view overlooking the lake from one of our porch swings. For a more active experience, surrounding mountains and streams provide great opportunities for fishing, hunting, skiing and hiking. You can almost always see loons, ducks, moose, deer and beaver. Seymour Lake is known for its excellent fishing and is conveniently located on major snowmobile trails (VAST) and nearby New England bike touring routes (Kingdom Trails).
If you're looking to do a little shopping, you need not even leave the lodge. There is an antique and gift shop right on the property.
Seymour Lake Lodge is ideal for families or couples and is pet friendly. The Lodge offers 7 lodge bedrooms plus a cottage.

Mount Harmony Farm Guest House is a charming 2-story country house in an earthy, farm setting, with privacy, natural beauty, and easy accessibility. It is centrally located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom with a VAST trail adjoining the property and there are many lakes, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and biking trails nearby.
The Guest House is situated on a 10 acre farm with mules, donkeys, horses, chickens (fresh eggs for your breakfast) and an organic garden on the property. It's a wonderful place to slow down, unwind and spend time indoors, or out in nature. The Guest House looks out over the West Pasture and vegetable gardens. In the summer you can hear the woodland creek, the spring peepers and the frogs in the pond.
Upstairs in the Guest House are 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Bathrooms, a Kitchenette and the Great Room with a picture window facing the mountains. There is a breakfast nook outside of one of the bedrooms - perfect for breakfast in bed. One bedroom has a Queen-size Bed; the other Bedroom has a King-size Sleigh Bed. In the upstairs Great Room there is also a built-in Queen-size Bed as well as a built-in Captain's Bed.
The downstairs Great Room has a full kitchen with a kitchen island, plus a wood stove (we supply plenty of firewood for up to a week). There is a Queen-size futon couch bed to stretch out on, watch TV/DVDs, or open it out for another couple to sleep in. Linens, kitchen utensils, and kitchenware including a coffeemaker, bean grinder, popcorn maker, and food processor are included. Other Guest House amenities include 2 satellite TV's, a DVD player, and Internet Access. Pets are welcome.
Marc is also an experienced Tai Chi [Bagua] and Chi Gung instructor. Ask about reserving a Holistic, Energy Healing Retreat.
