Spring and summer brings visitors to our mountains and lakes. For hiking information visit the Green Mountain Club. Our Lakes Region won't disappoint scullers, anglers, sailors and windsurfers. Some of our northern lakes don't permit motorboats, so please check before launching. There are free fishing maps available from Vt. Fish & Wildlife

Summer and Autumn are a perfect time for riding bikes on Kingdom Trails, or walking the backroads.

Winter enthusiasts will find dependable snow at Jay Peak and Burke Mountain, the region's two downhill resorts. There are five nordic centers in the Kingdom that machine-groom miles of tracks for classic and skate skiing -- and snowshoers are always welcome.

Snowmobilers enjoy a connected network covering 3,100 miles on groomed trails. Trail maps are available for $3 at VAST

Catamount Trail is North America's longest ski highway. It starts in Mass. and passes through the Kingdom to the Canadian border. It's open to backcountry skiers and snowshoeing.
