The remoteness and stunning landscape of the Northeast Kingdom makes for an inspirational setting for many folks with creative spirits &
artistic talents. Many Artists and Craftspeople live and work along our winding dirt roads, nestled among our mountains and woods, often working out of barns, old farmhouses, or just out in the great wide open. Many keep set hours for you to visit their galleries/studios while other simply ask that you call ahead and make an appointment to come visit. Either way, you are in for a wonderful stop and there's no telling what kind of treasures you'll find!
Once a year, in late May, many of our local Artists and Craftspeople open their doors for the Vermont Open Studios Weekend - a statewide event that allows you to visit Artists' studios and see how, where, and what they create.
